Police: Man Found Drunk In Car on Lawn

The following arrest information was supplied by the Morris Township police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a 60-year-old Morris Township man after allegedly finding his car parked across the lawn of a Lake Road resident.

Gregory Marks was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, after Ptl. Carmen Piccola found his vehicle on the lawn the afternoon of June 10, according to a statement issued by Capt. Capt. Rich Ferrone of the Morris Township Police Department.

Marks was found asleep behind the wheel, Ferrone said. When Marks was awakened, he showed signs of intoxication, Ferrone said.

Marks was additionally charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, and was later released to the care of a friend pending a future court date, Ferrone said.
