Police Move Yard Waste Off Roads

Limbs, leaves and other debris will return to yards.

The Morris Township Police Department announces the township effort to cleam up debris from the Oct. 29 snowstorm is continuing along with the Department of Public Works seasonal leaf pickup.

To assist the DPW workers, the township requests that residents or their contractors avoid mixing storm debris in with the leaf piles.

As a reminder, all articles placed at curbside needs to be kept out of the road to ensure that travel lanes are not obstructed. The township press release said, the cooperation of everyone is greatly appreciated as our employees work tirelessly on this monumental task. Should anyone have any questions, please feel free to contact the Department of Public Works 973-326-7398 or Township Administrators Office 973-326-7360
