Snow Coming Tuesday, Up to 10 Inches Expected

Morris County Office of Emergency Management says Tuesday morning snow won't clear until Wednesday.

With the threat of another polar vortex being bandied about for the better part of a week, forecasts have now confirmed the arriving cold snap will be heralded by another round of snow Tuesday morning.

According to the Morris County Office of Emergency Management's Jeff Paul, the data suggests snow arriving between 8 and 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

"The snow is anticipated to be moderate to heavy at times with the heavier accumulation occurring between 3 p.m. and midnight," Paul said.

The snow is anticipated to stop between 2 and 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning with snow accumulations estimated at 5-10 inches, Paul said.

"With the anticipated strong winds, we may experience blowing and drifting snow," Paul said. "Please adjust your travel plans accordingly. Be safe."
