Morristown Man Hurt After Car Flips on I-287
Drivers in two separate Tuesday night accidents on I-287 ended up being treated for minor injuries at Morristown Medical Center.
New Jersey State Police say a 62-year-old Morristown man flipped his car on Interstate 287 Tuesday night and had to be extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital, NJ.com reported.
David Alverson was trapped in the vehicle after it turned over, but emergency responders were able to extricate him, the article said. Though he was awake after his rescue, Alverson's head was bleeding, necessitating a trip to Morristown Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Several minutes later, state police learned of another accident on I-287 south at mile marker 38, the article said. The victim in this incident, a woman, complained of neck pain. She also was treated at Morristown Medical Center.
