Carroll to Politicker: 'You Crank Out a Kid and You Can’t Afford It, That’s Your Problem'

Assemblyman comments on Charity Care funding.

PolitickerNJ is reporting that Republic Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll of Morris Township, displeased by the amount of aid Governor Chris Christie wants to give to the Charity Care program, said, "'You crank out a kid and you can’t afford it, that’s your problem."

Charity Care– officially named The New Jersey Hospital Care Payment Assistance Program–provides free and low-cost medical care to individuals who have less than $7,500 in assets and are uninsured or underinsured. See the full story here.
