First Meeting of the Year Set in Morris

Jeff Grayzel and Dan Caffrey will take their oaths as township committeemen at the Morris Township Committee reorganization meeting Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.

Also at the meeting, the committee will nominate and choose a mayor and deputy mayor for the year. Standing sub-committees of the governing body will be authorized and members appointed and vacancies to boards and advisory committees will be filled.  Profession such as the township attorney, engineer and auditor will also be appointed for the year.

Mayor H. Scott Rosenbush will also give an address.

The invocation will be shared by Rt. Rev. Giles P. Hayes of St. Mary’s Abbey and Rabbi David Nesson of the Morristown Jewish Center, Beit Israel. The Benediction will be by Sr. Francis Raftery, SC., President of the College of St. Elizabeth.
