5 Ways to Help in Morris Township

There are a number of vacancies on boards and commissions

Morris Township is looking for a few volunteers for permanent and alternate members of township boards.

1) Alternates: A second alternate is needed for the environmental commission, for a one-year term. Two alternates are needed for the board of health, for two-year terms.

2) Two openings: Both the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and the Whippany Rive Watershed Action Committee need two members. The parks seats expire in 2012 and the watershed seats in 2012.

3) Board of Ethics: There are five vacancies expiring in 2016 on the board of ethics expiring in 2016.

4) Others: There are single vacancies on the Housing Advisory Council (2014), the ADA Compliance (2012), the Community Development Revenue Sharing Commission (2012) and the Morris Wildlife Management Commission (2012).
