Free Mulch Available in Morris Twp.

Read the following announcement form the township to find out why:

As a result of last October’s snowstorm, the Township of Morris was left with an enormous amount of brush and tree parts.

In association with the Morris County Park Commission, the Township of Parsippany, the Borough of Morris Plains, and the Town of Morristown, we were able to convert the collected debris into mulch.  This mulch is now available to all residents at no cost.  Mulch is self-serve and available on a first come, first served basis.  Simply load it up, and take it away!

Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, and Construction Equipment are NOT PERMITTED in either of the locations.

LOCATION No. 1: Township of Morris DPW Employee Parking Lot on Jane Way (across from the DPW Yard).
AVAILABILITY TIMES: Weekdays, 4 to 4 p.m.; weekends, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LOCATION No. 2: Parking Lot (off of South Street.)
AVAILABILITY TIMES: Weekdays and weekends, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
