Friday: Outage Information From JCP&L

Several additional Morris Township neighborhoods reportedly brought online.

As of 7 p.m. Friday evening, JCP&L had not provided the full power-restoration data requested by Morris Township officials, according to Mayor H. Scott Rosenbush.

Both Rosenbush and committeeman Dan Caffrey said on Wednesday that they wanted JCP&L to reveal the order in which it planned to tackle the remaining power outages in the municipality.

However, a few more clues were available as to how the work is progressing.

JCP&L reportedly named several areas to which it said power had been restored. The caveat: "Power has been restored" means that power has been brought to the neighborhood, not that it has been connected to every house with a downed wire:

Rosenbush said that JCP&L is sticking to its claim that 100% of power will be restored in Morris Township by Sunday; again, with "restored" meaning "brought to the neighborhood."
