Get your Generator Questions Answered at Morris Twp. Info Session

Who's home is equipped and ready for another power outage from another hurricane this year? Make sure you're ready and get all your questions answered at this Township meeting

The National Hurricane Preparedness Week just occurred—May 26 through June 1—and Morristown Office of Emergency Management said that "the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/ NOAA predicts active 2013 hurricane season." Morristown OEM is also asking residents to "prepare for the upcoming hurricane season, which officially starts this Saturday, June 1 and lasts until November 30."

To prepare for this, Morris Township is hosting an informational session on the “Importance of Automatic Standby Generators.”

The meeting will be on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Township Hall and is open to the public.
