Primary ballots being accepted at county clerk's office

Not expecting to get to the polls June 7? Voting is already open for the upcoming primary election. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Registered Morris County voters who will not be able to get to the polls for the June 7 primary election may vote in-person now until June 6 at the office of the Morris County Clerk. The Morris County Clerk’s Office is on the first floor of the Administration and Records Building, Court Street, Morristown.
  2. Joan Bramhall, the Morris County clerk, said in-person voting is being conducted in the County Clerk’s Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday, June 2, with the exception of Monday, May 30, Memorial Day, when the office will be closed.
  3. Voting will also be conducted in the County Clerk’s Office on Friday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.; and Monday, June 6, from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
  4. The County Clerk’s Office is also accepting applications for voting by mail until Tuesday, May 31.
  5. Additional information about voting may be obtained by calling the election department of the County Clerk’s Office at 973-285-6066.
