Morristown High School Principal Linda Murphy to be Honored at Black History Month Celebration

Event to be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Morris County Administration and Records Building.

Morristown High School Principal Linda Murphy will be one of the honorees at the 2011 Black History Month Celebration, according to an announcement by Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Community Affairs Unit and National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives will present a 2011 Black History Month Celebration Tuesday night at the , fifth floor, in Morristown at 6 p.m.

The event will recognize Alderwoman Carolyn Blackman, of Dover; retired Capt. Don Wactor, of the Orange Police Department; Dr. Felicia Jamison, educator/historian; Morristown High School Principal Linda Murphy; Executive Director David Walker, of the Morristown Neighborhood House and Jerricho Cotchery, of the New York Jets.
