New Officers Welcomed to Township Force

Busy meeting for township governing body includes ordinances and a hearing.

Two new police officers will be sworn in at the Morris Township Committee meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 in the municipal building.

Patrolmen Daniel Elig and Diego Phinheiro will take their oaths at the start of the meeting.

The committee will also take up the right-to-farm ordinance the planning board has been fine-tuning for months. Passage of the ordinance will enable Morris Township's first farm to be permanently preserved by Morris County.
