NJ.com: Christie Withdraws Nomination of Carroll For Judgeship
Governor, Carroll yet to speak.
NJ.com is reporting that Gov. Chris Christie has withdrawn the nomination of Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll (R-Morris) of Morris Plains to be a Superior Court judge. Neither the governor nor Carroll have spoken on the matter, but a source has reportedly told NJ.com that "Carroll's nomination was poised to become controversial."
