In a continuing effort to provide our residents with the most up-to-date information that we receive from JCP&L, attached is a street by street list of power restoration estimates. As a direct result from our persistent demands since Hurricane Irene, this is the first time that JCP&L has ever provided this type of street-level detail of power outages and restoration estimates.

Please understand that JCP&L is working around the clock on the roads and at their headquarters to restore power.  We are doing everything we can to keep you informed.  We continue to apply pressure on them on a daily basis to restore your power. The following information on the attached chart is based on the most up-to-date information available to Morris Township and JCP&L. Please understand that the estimated restoration dates are estimates - they are not guaranteed. The situation remains fluid and can change based on the actual outage circumstances.

Because of the persistent requests from us, the rest of the Morris Township Committee, and of course the public JCP&L has provided this detail. They have tried to list streets that are just in Morris Township.  Because this is in part a manual process there may be listings for streets in Morristown, Morris Plains, Harding or some Township streets may have been been removed by mistake but please be assured that Morris Township officials are combing through the list to find the inaccuracies or missing street data.  If a street is listed more than once the expected restoration date may be shown in another entry for that street name.  Bradford Estates is shown by the development name and not by individual streets in this report. You may see that streets with small numbers of outages are estimated to be restored before your street.  The reason for this is because they are part of a larger outage that extends to other streets.  Because this is the first time they have provided this level of detail the report process is not perfect.

We understand the hardship that those without power are experiencing. Just knowing some basic information can assist you plan your activities over the next few days.  We are doing everything we can to provide updates, get you as much information as possible and to apply pressure to JCP&L to get your power restored as soon as possible.
