A closer look at the Democrat challenging Rodney Frelinghuysen in the 11th Congressional District.

Chatham resident and Democrat Douglas Herbert is challenging incumbent Republican Rodney Frelinghuysen for New Jersey's 11th District Congressional seat.

Herbert earned his law degree from Seton Hall University and has his own practice in Brooklyn, N.Y. He earned his bachelor's degree at Columbia University and served in the U.S. Army.

Patch caught up with Herbert to ask him how he would serve the district in Congress.
