Thursday: Run/Walk For Morris Habitat
Share the Care 5K event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Morris Plains.
The Borough of Morris Plains has teamed up with RPI Design▪Build owner Matt Wendorff and his wife Denise to organize a 5K Fun Run/Walk and a Kids' Run to benefit Morris Habitat for Humanity. The goal is to surpass last year's event, which raised $7,500.
The USA Track & Field-marked course starts at in Morris Plains at 6:30 p.m. and winds through the borough streets.
The Kids’ Run for ages 2-14 follows the 5K. Distances for the Kids' Run are as follows:

Under 4 years 25 yards Age 4 50 yards Ages 5 and 6 100 yards Ages 7 and 8 200 yards Ages 9 and 10 400 yards or 5K Ages 11 - 14 1/4 mile or 5K
Fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for children ages 2-14.
Sponsors include Lakeland Bank, Atlantic Health System, Chilton Hospital, Morris Spine & Sport and Standard Tile East Hanover Corp.
