The Morris County elections room was buzzing as election results filed in.

Here are the results for the primaries for the Morris Plains Borough Council and the Morris Township Committee, according to unofficial results reported by the Morris County Board of Elections:

  • Incumbent Jason Karr won the Democratic primary with 78 of the 83 total votes—94 percent. 
  • Incumbent Suzanne B. McCluskey won the Republican primary with 359 of the 365 total votes—98 percent

Morris Township

  • Cathy Wilson took all 381 votes for the Democratic primary 
  • Mayor Peter V. Mancuso won the Republican primary with 1,100 of the 1,103 total votes—99.73 percent
