The day started off promising for the Delbarton Lacrosse team as they sprang ahead of Chaminade 3-1 in the first quarter. The second quarter would be their undoing.
Chaminade outscored Delbarton 4 - 1 in the second, including a goal with 9 seconds left in the half.
Delbarton's Peter McMullen tied the score in the third quarter, but late in the fourth quarter, Chaminade broke the tie and held on for the win. The final score was Chaminade 6, Delbarton 5.
