Fencing Fundraiser is at Lovey's

Restaurant schedules a "10 percent night"

The Morristown High School winter-break fundraiser will be a “10 percent night” at Lovey’s Pizza and Grill in Morris Plains from 4 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Any family from the Morris School District who comes in for dinner and sings the sign-in sheet will have 10 percent of their dinner check donated to the fencing team for whatever purpose the team decides, owner Dennis Wagner said.

If a family can’t make it for dinner, they will honor a lunch time purpose.

Wagner said the restaurant has done fund raisers for the fencing team and other charities before. They regularly do a “10 percent night” for the high school theater group. “Word get out we do them,” he said, adding Lovey’s did year-end dinners for the fencing team and were asked to do a “10 percent night.” Now they do them regularly.
