Early Registration For Revolutionary Ramble Ends Friday

Bicycle rides available for multiple skill levels.

April 15 is the last day to take advantage of early registration for the June 11 Revolutionary Ramble, an annual bicycling event organized by the Morris Area Freewheelers. The event raises funds for local rescue squads.

The ramble is made up of five different rides through historic areas. Riders of all abilities are welcome and can choose from 12, 25, 35, 45 or 65–mile routes. Those registered by April 15 receive a registration discount, a ride t-shirt, and the option to order a ride jersey.

Rides begin at Drew University in Madison and weave through Morristown, Morris Township, Chatham Township, Harding Township, Bernards Township, Far Hills, Tewksbury Township, Peapack/Gladstone, Chester, Long Hill, the Mendhams and Bedminster.

The ride is fully supported, meaning there are so-called "sag wagons," the vehicles that pick up riders who've run out of steam. The rest stops are well-stocked and bike mechanics are onsite. An all-you-can-eat-lunch is included and you'll receive discounts from sponsors. After the ride, visit the Bike Expo with demos, prizes, massage and more.

Register for a ride here.  Only 750 riders are allowed to sign up– the tour has sold out early the last two years. For more information, email here
