Morris Township Hosts Third Annual Tri-Harder Kids Triathlon

The Morris Township Department of Parks and Recreation will host its Third Annual Tri-Harder Kids Triathlon for children ages 4 to 14 on Saturday, July 16 at Ginty Pool.

The event, designed to get children up and moving with wholesome physical activity features the typical swim-bike-run format of a traditional triathlon, with distances appropriate for five ages groups: 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14.

The focus of this triathlon is on participation rather than competition; all participants will receive participation medals and only unofficial results are posted.

The events begin at 8:30 a.m. with check-in at 7:30 a.m. at the pool. All entrants must pre-register with registration period closing on July 15 at 5:00 p.m.. The cost is $10 per entrant and the triathlon is open to all regional area children.
