Hitting the Warrior Dash in Morristown? Be Prepared

Have you done the Warrior Dash? What can you tell people planning to tackle the course this weekend?

Imagine traversing through mud pits and fire, climbing walls and more over 3.1  miles. This Saturday, head over to Lewis Morris Park, 270 Mendham Road in Morristown, to watch participants in the Warrior Dash.

Here’s a look at the course map and the obstacles they face.

There’s parking available at AT&T Corporation—340 Mt. Kimble Ave. Morristown. Please note that parking is $10 per vehicle.

Waves of up to 525 participants will start staggered times throughout the day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Race results and photos will be available about two to three days following the race. Participants will be notified via email when results and photos are posted.

While people can't register for this weekend's event any more, a Aug. 24 Warrior Dash will be held in Pennsylvania. For more dates and places of upcoming ones, go here

The website has tips for getting ready for the Warrior Dash. Another tip: Bring extra shoes. Last year people were able to donate their mud-filled kicks, and you may not want to keep yours anyways after sloshing around with mud in them.
