Registration closes on Thursday. Pre-registration is required

Editor's Note: The following is a press release from Morris Township

The Morris Township Department of Parks and Recreation will host its annual Tri-Harder Kids Triathlon event for children ages 4 to 15 (if not in high school) on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Ginty Pool.  The event is designed to get children up and moving with healthy physical activity, training, and enjoyment. It features the typical swim-bike-run format of a traditional triathlon, with distances appropriate for five age groups: 4 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 to 15. This event will feature age-appropriate swimming at Ginty Pool, a bicycling route through local neighborhoods, and distance runs at Ginty Field.

The focus of this Triathlon is on participation rather than competition; all participants will receive participation ribbons and only unofficial results are posted.
