Video: Delbarton Lacrosse falls to #1 Summit, 9-5
Summit prevailed in a battle between the top two teams in New Jersey.
Delbarton and Summit traded goals in the first quarter but, in the second, Summit scored 4 straight goals and took a commanding 5 - 1 lead. Delbarton got a goal at the end of the second quarter and outscored Summit 3 - 2 in the third quarter. With the score 7 - 5 in the fourth quarter and Delbarton with posession, a turnover led to a spectacular scoring play for Summit as they went ahead 8 - 5. One more goal with 15 seconds left in the game and the final was Summit 9 - Delbarton 5.
