Morristown Residents Get a Lesson in Parenting Wednesday

Parenting expert Dr. Edward Hallowell will address community members at Morristown High School Wednesday.

Anyone connected to the enrichment and betterment of students in the Morris School District will soon have a few new tricks up their sleeves. 

The Morris Educational Foundation and the Morristown Rotary Club for Parent Education is bringing child psychiatrist and parenting expert Dr. Edward Hallowell, to Morristown High School at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hallowell will share insight from his best-selling book, "The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness."

Hallowell will discuss how raising children with healthy self esteem, moral awareness and strong values can greatly increase a child’s chances of succeeding in school and leading a meaningful life. He will outline ways that parents can promote successful learning and lifelong happiness in their children.
