Public Hearing for Morris Schools' Emergency Generator this Week

Both the Morris Plains and Morris Township planning boards meet on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at their respective town halls. The Morris Township Planning Board agenda can be found here. 

At this meeting, there will be a public hearing for the installation of an emergency generator for the Morris School District.

Also, there will be a public hearing for the Spring Brook Country Club. Continued from public hearings on June 3 and July 8, the club is looking to “update and modernize the existing maintenance facilities on site, to construct fueling/washing bays for the equipment and to implement an accessory use structure on a small portion of the property which will serve as administrative office and storage space,” according to the agenda.

Other items to be discussed include a tree ordinance, signs and landscaping issues. The agenda for the Morris Plains Planning Board is not posted on the website.

The Morris Township Committee meets this Wednesday at 7 p.m. as well. The Morristown-Morris Township Library, will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. at the library on Tuesday
