The closing of the Clearview Cinema in Headquarters Plaza brought out critics and mourners alike as the summer months dragged on and the announcement that AMC was re-opening the recently closed Headquarters Plaza movie theater brought about much rejoicing to residents but at the same time the possible loss of the iconic Greystone building caused lamenting.

The arrival of the Cake Boss in Morristown produced some sweet well wishes and some sour critiques as folks weighed in on what should replace the old Morris Plains ShopRite and the merits of the new ShopRite building in Cedar Knolls.
