Homeless Solutions had its start in 1983. In 1999, after deciding to address not just homelessness in Morris County but also its lack of low-income housing, the organization took its current name.
The Homeless Solutions shelter houses homeless women, men and families. Safe Haven guests can also be accommodated. Safe Haven assists the mentally ill and homeless.
Many services are available: money management assistance, training in basic living skills, help with employment searches and counseling and substance abuse-intervention referrals.
