James, Why belittle another sport (which I dislike, by the way) in order to make your point? And all my point was that the attempt to market MLS as "major league," given the premiere leagues already in places--a number in Europe--was, to me, a waste of time. Can you go to an MLS game and have a great time and see a competitive, fairly topnotch game? Sure, in the same way you can go see the …   more ›

That came in handy there at the end.” Delbarton is now ranked No. 4 nationally and Chaminade is ranked No. 6. Delbarton is now 16-0 on the season and has a bye in the first round of the 2013 NJSIAA Tournament. The Green Wave will play the winner of Pope…

Then it was a career down the tubes. Then it was two drug overdoses, one of which was heart-stopping. Then it was a family that turned away because of too much pain. For more than an hour, Chris Herren, a once-heralded high school basketball star, college hoops standout and second round National Basketball Association draft …

Unfortunately, for those who become addicted, especially MICA(Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted) there is really no place to go for rehab long-term. The 30 day rehabs are a joke. Unless you can spend many thousands of dallars, you just get put on a waiting list. And the places for MICA are few and far between. If you are a true addict, you need long term inpatient rehab- NA may work for some after…   more ›

Morristown Girls LAX Advance in State Tourney

They beat Vernon 14-9

After being defeated on Tuesday against Montville on the road, Morristown girls lacrosse came strong into the state tournament on Thursday. Ranked No. 5, the Colonials beat No. 12 Vernon, 14-9. Coach Evan Mager said on Tuesday that the team needed to focus in this tournament because it only takes one bad day to get sent home. “We need to figure it out going into state because in playoffs, any team can play,” said Mager. “Everybody needs to realize that it’s one (bad) game and you go home. Luckily we have a day tomorrow to prepare. We’re ranked fifth in the conference so we have a home game, which is Thursday at 4:30 p.m.” Did you go and get pictures or video of the game?
