I Saw the Sign(s): Opposite Ends of the Spectrum

Fatty's and Grassroots Natural Market now have signage for their impending openings.

They're clearly appealing to different demographics, yet are (literally) a stone's throw from each other. Granted, you might need an arm like Peyton Manning to clear that distance, but it's possible. And now, they both have signs to prove that they will both be here soon enough. On one end of the spectrum, Grassroots Natural Market is on its way to opening in the space formerly occupied by The Health Shoppe, which closed last summer after 40 years in Morristown. This will be the second location for Grassroots, which began in Denville. But, if organic produce and wheatgrass are not your thing—or it's just 2 a.m. and they're closed—Fatty's also now has a new sign (which, if you look quickly may make you think Wendy's has moved into town) and…

I wonder if this place will stay open. Most places that have opened there have closed after a few months. The last people that owned that place got their business burnt down which by the way, their kids opened up garden deli up by the Hyatt at morristown and heardit was pretty good so I'm sure their parents business in the fatty's location wasn't bad but I feel like the place might just be cursed…   more ›
