Construction Permit Fees Waived in Morristown
Provision made for any work associated with damages from Sandy.
The following is a statement released Tuesday afternoon by Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty. Due to extent of damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and the damage left in its path, the Town of Morristown is going to waive any and all Building Department “Construction Code” permit fees that are associated with any damage caused by the storm. This would include, but would not be limited to, any building, electrical and/or plumbing permits that are required due to a tree falling onto and damaging the structure, electrical service entrance or gas meter. I guess Morris Township has no plans of waiving fees too...they are really dropping the ball on their response to the hurricane.   more ›
