Savon Pharmacy, located at the Acme in Morris Plains, is running a holiday promotion on flu shots. Get your shot between now and Dec. 20 and you will receive a $5 Acme gift card. To qualify, just mention the promotion to the pharmacist when you arrive at the store. Jenny Rasla, a pharmacist in Morris Plains, said, "People can walk in whenever they want without an appointment, but the wait time could be 20-25 minutes." With an appointment, she said, "It takes 5 to 10 minutes." The shot costs $26.99 and is covered by many health plans, along with Medicare.
