Developer expects Latitude to be ready in about a year and a half.

Mill Creek Residential Trust broke ground on Tuesday for Phase I at 32 Early St., which will become the new location of Latitude, luxury rentals. The firm began demolishing homes and removing debris and brush in January to clear the land. Demolition has finished and the groundbreaking ceremony marked the beginning of construction.  Rich Murphy, Mill Creek Residential Managing Director, said that Mill Creek got involved in the project about five years ago. He expects it to be ready in about a year and a half “Over the next year and a half, there’s going to be a lot of activity here,” said Murphy. “You can see we’ve already broke ground. Not sure which houses you are looking at, but it appears the house's on the lake side are much smaller lots than the others. The zillow estimates are not always that accurate, so I would make sure you are looking at pricing of houses actually on the market (or recently sold).   more ›

Developer, Morristown Break Ground on Early Street Apts

Mill Creek Residential Trust expects to finish Phase I in about a year and a half.

In a little over a year, expect to see a new apartment community on Early Street. Mill Creek Residential Trust began demolishing homes and removing debris and brush in January to clear the land at 32 Early St., which will become the new location of Latitude, luxury rentals. Now that demolition has finished, construction will begin, marked by a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday. “It does take a lot of time, but when you get it right, you break ground. I think that is part of the problem when you hire a planner that makes most of their …   more ›
