The Route 10 crash in which a pedestrian was struck Saturday remains under investigation after the man died from his injuries according to Parsippany Police Ptl. Earl Kinsey. The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was struck by a car in the center lane at Route 10 West and Yacenda Drive just before 2 a.m. According to a press release sent by Kinsey Wednesday, the pedestrian died after being transported to Morristown Medical Center. Kinsey said no charges have been filed against the driver, who did stop the vehicle after the crash. Anyone with information on the incident should contact Ptl. Prosecutor: 37-year-old man, mother and her daughter found wounded at New Road complex.
Three people were stabbed in an altercation at a New Road apartment complex Monday afternoon, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. According to Capt. Jeffrey Paul, a spokesman for Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Brian Davis, 37, allegedly stabbed a 58-year-old woman and her 26-year-old daughter inside the Partridge Run apartment complex at 130 New Road. Parsippany Police found Davis inside the apartment allegedly armed with a knife at about 3 p.m., the prosecutor's office said. Davis, who had also sustained stab wounds, was subdued by police after a brief struggle, the prosecutor's office said. It was not immediately known how Davis sustained the stab wounds.
