Two Morristown teens accused of sexually assaulting a girl in 2011 will be tried as adults, according to the Star-Ledger. The defendants, Aquil Malik and Dequan McDaniel, were 17 at the time of the alleged incident in September 2011. Now 19, they could face up to 20 years in prison. Were they tried as juveniles, the maximum allowable sentence would have been four years. The previously-unidentified pair were 17 when they and 19-year-old Tyrec Philips, also of Morristown, are accused of having allegedly given a 17-year-old female, also of Morristown, something to drink that made her fall in and out of consciousness. A Morris Township man set up a camera to secretly record a 23-year-old woman in her bathroom — and years ago, sexually assaulted the same woman when she was only a teenager, police said. Allan Goldstein, 62, of Sussex Avenue has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, invasaion of privacy and attempted invasion of privacy. On Sunday, the woman reported finding a small camera secreted behind a hole in a shower tile in her bathroom, according to an affidavit signed by Detective Robert Shearer of the Morris Township Police Department. She also told police that Goldstein had sexually assaulted her in November of 2003, when she was under the influece of prescription medicine, recovering from a surgery, according to the affidavit.
