Pope’s Resignation 'Shocked' St. Virgil Pastor

Pastor said that it wasn't a decision that the pontiff 'took lightly.'

Tuesday: Have a Calzone for a Good Cause

Mangia! You'll be helping the St. Virgil's Appalachian Outreach Fund

For a dozen years, St. Virgil's parish in Morris Plains has operated the Appalachian Outreach Project, in which teens help to build homes for families in Kentucky. For one day, you can help too, simply by enjoying your favorite Italian foods at Primavera Pizza Bistro. On Tuesday, June 14, Primavera's will donate 15% of all sales from 5-9:00 p.m. to the Outreach Project, whether by delivery, pick-up or eat-in orders.  So savor some spaghetti, have a bite of bruschetta or chomp on a cannoli–all for a worthy cause. Note: A previous version of this story stated that the fundraiser would run all day. In fact, it only covers sales between 5-9:00 p.m.
