Texas-based company announced they will move into space currently occupied by A&P on Washington Street sometime in 2014, 2015.
For those looking for their Whole Foods Market fix that don't want to go to Madison or the one recently announced for Parsippany, your prayers have been answered. Well, they will be a year or two from now. During the Austin, Texas-based company's quarterly earnings call Wednesday, it was announced that, among a slate of new store openings, a Morristown location was planned for a 2014, 2015 opening in the space currently occupied by A&P on Washington Street. A&P will retain the space until the end of 2013, said Michael Sinatra, a Whole Foods Market Northeast Public Relations representative. "It's still their space, they're still operating a store there." For now. "We have signed a lease saying that we will be utilizing the property," …

Company releases more details about the organic supermarket's forthcoming Par-Troy site.
Since word was released last week that a Whole Foods Market is coming to Parsippany, many residents have reacted with excitement. That joy will have to be tempered: The store likely won't open until 2014 or 2015, according to a company spokesperson. Michael Sinatra told Patch that lease papers have been signed for Whole Foods to rent about 40,000 square feet in a complex that will be constructed on Route 46 between Waterview Boulevard and Intervale Road, where woods now stand. "We're thrilled to be coming to Parsippany," Sinatra said. "I am from the area and with Mountain Lakes and Denville nearby, we know this will be a great location." While a lease agreement has been struck for the yet-to-be-erected building, the project is in the …

The health-minded supermarket chain isn't saying much now, but a company spokeswoman confirms the move.
The rumor started filtering through email channels Friday afternoon: Whole Foods Market is coming to Parsippany. Turns out it was no rumor—a company spokeswoman says the news is true. Spokeswoman Jessica Alter said the company isn't releasing details such as where the Par-Troy Whole Foods will be located or when it's coming, but she did confirm to Patch that a lease has been signed for a Parsippany site. Whole Foods is known for serving the nation as a retail provider of natural and organic foods. Until the store opens in Parsippany, Whole Foods Markets enthusiasts can visit the only other Morris Whole Foods Market site in Madison at 222 Main St. Wegmans announced earlier this month it plans to move into Hanover.
