Former Parsippany Boy Scout Files Suit, Alleges Years of Abuse
Morris Plains resident already facing child porn charges is accused of 'hundreds' of incidents of abuse.
A 30-year-old who says he was victimized as a teen by a Parsippany Boy Scout leader in the 1990s has filed suit against the Boy Scouts of America in Bergen County Superior Court, NJ.com reports. The suit also names Patriots Path Council for placing Morris Plains resident Stephen Corcoran in charge of the scouts, the report said. In January, Corcoran, 44, a former assistant scout master, was arrested and charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography, as well as fourth-degree possession of child pornography, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert A.
