JRA was founded in Philadelphia, in September 2000, with one goal in mind…to bring vital food support to hungry, disadvantaged families in our community. This singular idea gave birth to an agency that now stands alone as an innovator in its hands-on, door-to-door approach to feeding over 3,200 needy families nationwide. What’s more, JRA accomplishes this with a volunteer corps of people of all ages and backgrounds participating at JRA’s monthly food distributions.<br> <br><strong>JRA MetroWest</strong> began on March 4, 2012 when we delivered food to 25 families!
