Morris Plains Remembers Prisoners of War
Watnong VFW Post 3401 and Ladies Auxiliary honors POW/MIAs with balloon release.
Gone, but never forgotten.
On Sept. 21 the Watnong VFW Post 3401 and Ladies Auxiliary took time out of their annual clam bake to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action with a balloon release.
"We must remember the heroes who never made it home," Ladies Auxiliary President Adele Johnston said.
The balloons were released by members and friends as a tribute to those souls who did not return.
