Stop! Morris Township Putting Up New Signage

Series of streets to get stop signs in the coming weeks.

You enjoy whipping around Alpine Drive, driving like a free spirit?

Well, you shouldn't. These are neighborhoods. 

And to hammer that point home Morris Township is in the process of installing a series of stop signs designed to make the thoroughfares safer.

The roads are still freshly paved and smell of asphalt hangs in the air and the only thing missing are the new signs on the corner, which according to the Township Committee, will be coming sooner rather than later. 

Signs are set to be installed on Alpine Drive where it meets Kahdena Road,
and Alpine Drive where it meets Valley View Street (pictured with this post).

Not to be outdone, Lawndale Avenue is getting a series of signs where it meets Shadyside Streetand again on Lawndale where it meets Valley View Street.

Another sign is planned for Shadyside Street where it connects with Alpine Drive.
